We saw the little town that Tom and Cheryl live by... very nice. Looking forward to seeing them on the way back.
The dogs are getting tired of traveling, we stop often to rest and stretch and allow them to potty and get some exercise. Hoshi and I have been working on her obedience training, even while on the road, it takes a lot of time and consistancy to accomplish this. Over and over commands, training, praising, working, getting it just right and then working on it some more. I'm hoping to do competition obedience with her, I think that will be fun and create a real bond between us.
Tomorrow we will pull into Troutdale/Gresham around noon. I have to go to the DMV and get my license renewed then rent a car so that we can run around and take care of closing bank accounts, paying any bills etc for mom's estate.
Haven't heard back from Peter's sister, I called her number and talked to her machine twice telling her about her mom but have not received a response. Peter will call tomorrow and try to reach her.
We'll get to see the grandkids this week, looking forward to that.. they have gotten so much bigger in the last three years. Can hardly wait to see them, I'll have my camera ready to take bunches of pictures.
I've been doing alot of business as we've been traveling, whenever I've got internet access and telephone access I've been paying bills for the business, making arrangements for shows and rv parking, as well as working with the funeral home to get all arranged by the time we arrive.
It's strange to be back on pacific time after being on eastern and central time, we've almost got jet lag :)
