What a month!!!

OK, where we left off...
We were in Muncie IN, it turned out to be a good show -  I was not enthusiastic about doing it, I was just so tired that I was concerned that I'd not do well.
The night before we left everyone was gone and two hot air balloons took off and drifted over the fairgrounds.  They were so close that I heard the gas tanks woosh..
We took the next 10 days off and I slept alot off and on.
We got here to Lexington KY and took the dogs to the vet for their yearly shots and check up.  They are both in great health, Nougat is a bit overweight but Peter can't resist feeding her bits from his plate.  She is so spoiled, but is a very good girl.  She loves to cuddle and will snuggle up on my shoulder while I'm on the computer.
Hoshi is doing very well, her weight is right on track, her coat is sleek and shinny and her eyes are normal, she is doing well with learning obedience, I've got her to sit, stay for long periods, and will heel when on leash.  I'm just about ready to start her in obedience shows.  Just have to find the time during the shows to do it.
I set up the agility weave poles and lead her through them each morning here at KY.  We get down to the booth early AM before anyone else shows up.   I've got both tents setup, the big one 20X10' and then the smaller one between it and the trailer (I've got a 20' X 26' space that I can use.  So we've got shade to spread out in.  Her xpen blocks one side and I've got her crate there for her to use.  She is such a woos that she likes to be in her crate in the mornings as she thinks it's a tad cool. (70's)  Then in the afternoons she lays on the grass under my chair while I wait on customers.
When she has to go pee she turns and grabs at her tail and does a little ummmmm to get my attention.
The show this weekend has been very slow, not as many people here although there are plenty of dogs entered.  Someone wanted some "bling" on their lead so I put some charms on it and she was happy.
Peter and I are both going to a doctor on tuesday, we're going to get his diabetes addressed so that he can start feeling better.  I've got to get my perscriptions recharged.
We're going to spend the rest of the week here at the horse park, filling orders and getting some rest.

Canfield OH

We traveled from Milwaukee, WI to Canfield OH in two days, it was a fairly easy trip as we took the I90 toll road all the way.  Lots of construction along the route near Chicago but even that was easy as we made sure that we did it mid morning.
Peter was having arrhythmia during the first day, it's becoming more frequent and it makes him dizzy and nauseated.  By the afternoon he was feeling better, but we stopped at every rest stop along the way, they have them on the toll road every 25 miles.
Canfield was a great success, better than last year, we give God the glory for supporting us.
The weather was great, very humid since it's Ohio but beautiful days with just enough clouds to keep the sun from beating down too hard.  We had a thunderstorm the first day, (setup) but I got done before it was too bad and that night it rained buckets... the tent was flooded but by the time I opened shop the next morning it was pretty much all sunk into the ground.  The next few days were very nice and no rain at all.
Called Cheryl one night, had a great talk with her, we only talk once or twice a year but I wanted to hear first hand how she enjoyed her motorcycle vacation, (she loved it, God watched over them all the way), it was good to share with her.
This morning when we took off (monday) we had a few sprinkles and it looks like we're chasing some kind of storm heading out on I-80.  We're going though the town of State College and then heading south to Harrisburg.  We'll stay in State college tonight at a KOA there and head into Harrisburg in the morning.
The scenery this way is beautiful, lots of hardwood trees and the road is well maintained.  The fog is sunk into the hills right now and we're getting some mist, enough that Peter has to keep the wipers going.  Lots of traffic this way, the trucks use it heavily.
Paul is working hard on his project in Reno, missing his family but getting his project done.
Looking forward to this show, it's indoors and air conditioned.  Whoopee!
