Aussie

Peter made it into Greeley around 5pm on Saturday... we had orders to ship out and leather to make so we were busy both days.
Ellen and Dennis came over on Sunday afternoon and we picnic'd at the park.  It was a great time of fellowship and visiting.  Dennis is a great guy and Peter likes him alot.
Monday was starting day for the Aussies National, the numbers are very low, even lower than the Shelties.
They have agility, obedience, rally as well as confirmation.  I didn't have to move my booth so that was a great thing.
I am so tired all the time, it could be the elevation but it's not going away and I've been here for 2 weeks, I should be feeling better all the time instead of worse.
I am concerned that my heart troubles are coming back.  When we get back to sea level we'll see how I feel and if nothing has changed then I'll check with a dr.  it's been 7 years since my last clogged arteries and the expected time was 5 years, so I'm doing great!!
There was a nice young man from Israel that bought some leashes from us and brought his friends over to buy leashes too.    He has been working on his english and is very proud of himself that he can speak so well.
Some people are pulling out already, but we'll stay until Saturday.  The air conditioner in the living room went out and we'll have to get it replaced due to the heat is coming on already and Peter can't work well when it's so hot.  The one in the bedroom that we replace last summer is doing great, nice and cool in there.
We're going to take off soon from the building and go back to the rv, I'd like to take a nap for sure.

Transmission in!

Peter will be on the road tomorrow, coming my way!!  I am praying so hard that he will be safe and not take any chances... it's a long trip for him without me.  God will be with him, I believe that!
He is tired right now, I just called him and he's in Portland picking up a few last things before getting back to the rv park.  He will hook up the trailer and get on the road in the AM.  He likes to have his coffee in the mornings, but will drive as long as he can.  He's been having a bad week physically, nausea yesterday really bad, with alot of aches and pains along with it.  Plus he's been doing more walking because I'm not there to do it for him; like taking the trash out, going into the store, doing all the running around and climbing in and out of the rv once he gets there.
I'm praying he sleeps well tonight (he's not been as I've not been there) and can start tomorrow refreshed.  He has satellite radio to listen to as he drives so he shouldn't be drifting off to sleep, at least not as much.
Nougat has been keeping him company along the way, so he has her to talk to and she will not answer back :)

National Anthem

Each day the National Anthem is sung by a different person, or instramental is played.
This morning Hoshi decided to sing along, I guess she liked the voice of the singer.. the problem was everyone along with the singer started to laugh and I had trouble hushing Hoshi up!!
She didn't know what the problem was, and I didn't want to punish her for it.  So I just lightly held her muzzle and she hummed along.  The singer collected herself and continued until the finish, but Hoshi decided that she liked singing and wanted to keep going, so I distracted her with some treats.
We got here this morning and did our bicycle ride around the complex, but it's colder... it's supposed to snow this evening.  After a high of 75ish yesterday it's amazing that a cold front came in, but it's supposed to warm up again tomorrow for a beautiful weekend.

Greeley CO show

We made it to Greeley CO, unloaded the truck on sat, went over to Ellen's and visited with he and Dennis, great house they are fixing up, nice neighborhood then I setup on sun after a GREAT service at a church that Ellen and Dennis go to..very much blessed!
Today, monday I'm just sitting and waiting for some action.  Yesterday I was selling stuff as I was setting it up.  Today it's very slow, I hope it picks up some.
Puppy classes going on in the ring today as well as other thing happening in other buildings.  Lot's of RV's here, I don't have anything to compare it with so no data there.  I have talked to people from CA, OK, TX and a couple of other states so they are coming in.
Hoshi is loving it, I leave her crate door open and she comes in and out as she pleases, of course on a long leash.  Right now she is chewing the stuffing out of her "cat" squeaker toy. Literally!!    The weather is beautiful, supposed to get up into the 70's today!
I'm driving from Ellen's house, it's an hour away but I'm waking up at 5:30 and leaving by 6am getting here by 7am and there are people waiting for me to open.  The other vendors are not as quick as I, most of them came in by 8am.
The sales are larger than at normal shows...  I'm selling more leather today, yesterday it was all about flags, they are very pretty and come in all the sheltie colors.  I have not seen any shelties that look like my "christie" the sheltie that I had when I was pregnant with Rachel... she was clear red and white, these are all sable which means that they have black tipping on their fur.  They range in size from 13" to 18" and some of them are so tiny they are almost nougat's size although I'm sure they are not "legal"
There is an old sheltie here that is almost pure white and is blind and almost deaf, I can see him cock his head to try to hear what's going on.  He's in a booth across from me and is very patient with his people.
These are really high maintenance dogs, I can tell when they are show or just agility.  The agility people strip the undercoat out so the dogs are not as rounded looking.  There is continious washing, clipping and grooming going on.  The sounds of the blow dryers are constantly in the background somewhere in the building.

Ogden UT

Well, here's what's been happening for the last few days.
I rented a small moving truck and loaded up my products into it.  It only took two layers of the tubs that I hold everything in, but no one would rent me a pickup or cargo van to go one way with and certainly nothing to haul my trailer with.
This is working out well.
The first day out (left wed AM) I made it to Cheryl and Tom's place in Idaho, and had a great visit with them.  It's wonderful to be able to talk about what Jesus is doing in our lives and great it is that we love Him so much.  This AM we had a time of devotion and prayer together before I left.  Cheryl's looking great and so is Tom.  His mother was there and it was good to see her.  I haven't seen here since I was much younger... MUCH!
Hoshi and I had a good trip to Ogden Ut... it took us from 8 - 3 to get here.  We left Tom and Cheryl's at about 7:30 this AM but I had to stop at Office Depot in Boise to get some booklets made and ship out a couple of boxes to the East Coast.
Hoshi was such a good girl today, she's gotten to where she sleeps alot, watches out the window some and when she has to go, she lets me know by biting at her tail!! LOL then if I don't get the hint she will whine until I tell her that we'll look for someplace.  She has usually held it as long as she can and once the door is open she's running for the first patch of grass that she can find!! LOL
Tomorrow we will make it into Ft Collins, I'll have to get Ellen's address so I know where to go.  It's been a very easy trip so far, the speed limits are 75 and except for really windy places I can go that speed with no trouble.  This truck is so little it fits into the car parking spaces so I don't have to maneuver at all.
I can't unload until Sunday so will have to just park it.

Dilema

The transmission is busted, the 4th gear is totally out, "Jasper Transmission" will replace it under warranty but it will not be available until the 15th.   I at least have to be in Greeley CO by the 13th to set up for the Sheltie national, a really big show.
Can't rent a van or truck to pull my trailer over there.
We're currently up a creek without a paddle, so we're praying for guidance on what to do.  If anyone can come up with a reasonable suggestion it would be appreciated, if not just pray for us.
We limped down the freeway today with out flashers on from Elma.  BTW it was a very poor show, all vendors were away from the rings and hardly anyone came out in the rain and cold.  I had my hand warmers in my pockets and Hoshi had her heating bed along with a blanket that she snuggled under to keep warm.
What with all that's happened this weekend to make us miserable, we're still praising the Lord for His protection over us.
Peter is upset by all that's going on, but we're praying it will all work out for His will for us.

Beautiful Spring in the NW

God is so good, the sun is shinning, the trees are blossoming, the grass is turning green and the birds are singing.
We are so blessed, we praise the Lord every day.
We have decided it's time for us to start saving up for a different RV.  This Rv has done wonders for us but is starting to eat more money than we can afford to put into it.  Things are starting to go wrong more often than before, there is something new that needs attention bi-weekly rather than once or twice a year.
The newest thing that has happened just yesterday on our drive to elma, wa. is that the transmission has gone on the blink... 3rd gear has gone out.  We still have 1st and 2nd but will need to stop in Portland to have the transmission checked out.  It is under warrenty but will take time to get it fixed.
We've never been out on this hwy 12 before and it is very beautiful here, the roads are wide enough for bicycling but we woke up this AM to it being under 30 degrees.  Rather cold to be riding a bike.
I got the UPS orders off, and much of the USPS orders too.  Peter has a couple of collars to make and then we'll be all caught up.
The show this weekend is a small one but we're in untapped territory, so we're hoping for a good turnout.
Nougat is sitting on my table looking out the window, she's such a little thing, so cute and adorable, we let her get away with alot.  She likes to woof at anything going by whether it's a person or a bird; we've taught her not to go ballistic with barking but she can woof softly and we don't get on her case.  She's a dog after all!

Almost done

Here it is Tuesday and we're catching up to some extent!
I took the car back today, picked up my new bike and rode back to the rv park.  It was a nice 5 mile ride, the new bike works great!  I'm really excited that I was able to get the size that I wanted and in a drop fame for women.  I have been having trouble with my hips so to lift my foot over the frame even on the giant step through, it was difficult.  Now with this one the frame is even lower and I so far don't have trouble with it.
It's burgundy and gray and the handlebars are more up swept so that I don't have to lean over as far as on the giant.  I'm getting older and my hands and arms can't hold up to the strain and weight on them all the time.
I made good time getting back, but even so it was 4pm when I got home.  Hoshi and Nougat attacked me with kisses and hugs when I come in the door.  LOL, they had been bugging "the man" about every 10 minutes that last half hour that I was gone.  They were sure that they heard me coming!!
I've still got some packaging to do, got alot out today, but still have more.  Peter did some special orders for leather and I've got to get it ready to mail.
I was hoping that we could take off tomorrow morning for Olympia, wa and get there a bit early so that he could work some more leather without being disturbed.
Hoshi needs a bath, I give her one as often as possible to keep her smelling good.  With her short hair she drys quickly and is so soft afterwards.
